Stephen and Amy Hollenberg, members of Community Chapel Church of the Nazarene in Nashua, NH, are currently volunteering in the Philippines. Stephen is pursuing a Master of Divinity at Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary, while also volunteering in a nearby slum community and coordinating campus events. Amy serves as a school nurse at Faith Academy, volunteers at a maternity clinic, conducts orphanage medical checks, and is studying for a Graduate Certificate in Intercultural Studies.
They previously served in Papua New Guinea (2011–2012) and will return there in August 2025. Stephen will teach in the Bachelor of Theology program and oversee campus maintenance at the Christian Leader’s Training College. Amy will work in a clinic serving over 20,000 people and assist with its expansion into a hospital. Their children—Corban (10), Gideon (8), and Quinlan (5)—will continue homeschooling while adjusting to a new culture and grieving the community they leave behind in the Philippines.
